I hadn't remembered that the Friday Night Movie crowd had watched Gorgo back in December 2007. It's a fair to good monster movie. Gorgo gets captured and his mom comes to rescue him. People don't do so well. I don't have a great copy. Just something I caught on AMC ages ago, back when it was hosted by Bob Dorian. I should upgrade to the widescreen dvd, it's only 8 bucks on Amazon. It's worth that. Since I was digging in the home made dvdr's I pulled out the nearby I Come In Peace. This movie is also known as Dark Angel in other parts of the world that aren't the USA. I hadn't seen it in a few years. Dolph Lundgren is a tough cop who goes up an alien drug dealer. The alien is killing people and taking their endorphins to be used as a drug where he comes from. Good crop on planet earth, huh. Some alien cop shows up but he gets blasted. Dolph gets some help from FBI guy Brian Benben and Dolph's coroner girlfriend. I like Dolph in this, he's ok. Never was a fan of Brian Benben but he's ok enough here. The movie is pretty entertaining in a B Movie kind of way. We're just out to shoot up the town and blow some shit up. Looks like it's not out on dvb. I have a dvdr I made from a tape copy. It's good enough for me and how often I need to watch it, which isn't that often. You can see the trailer on YouTube.
