The Ghost Train has 741 parts including 5 minifigs. Bricklink says there are 30 extra parts in the box. It's a $79.99 set so the parts are about 11 cents each. The set lets you build a 4 section bone decorated train and a small steampunky plane. I saw a set over at the TCLUG meeting and the train looks pretty good but the plane is only so-so. It's pretty clunky looking. The set is mostly filled with black parts, about a third, and the rest is mostly blays and dark reds. They aren't nescessarily parts I need but there are a nice assortment of them. There's a
few Technic gears, cams and other connectors so you can build the flappy wings on the train cars. They are powered by the turning of the wheels as you move the train along a surface. Only the two small cars have movement. It reminds me of the train in the Time Twisters sets. That train had a lot more movement and it was even goofier than this Monster Fighters train.
The train has a huge glow in the dark face printed on a 4x4 dish. Not sure what I'd do with one once I had it. I like the green flame but I'd want a handfull and there is only one in the set. To Bricklink! There are 4 small bones, 12 large
bones and 28 of the white battle droid arms in white to decorate the train. There are 38 white barbs to add danger. You could put your eye out on those barbs and those ghosts would only laugh. I bet they wouldn't take you to the hospital on their ghost train. Maybe to the cemetary. The white 1x1 cones holding the barbs are glow in the dark as are the three 4L white bars. You get 2 dozen of the new style black 2x2 macaroni brick and a dozen of the Black Slope 45 2 x 1 with 2/3 Cutout. I have a few of the later and haven't ever used them yet. The rest of the parts are useable but common.
There are 5 minifigs, an Ann Lee, a Frank Rock and three ghosts. The human's both appear in the two smaller sets and there is supposed to be a small polybag with a ghost but I haven't seen it yet. I'd pick up a few of those but this set is one I'll give a pass on, at least until clearance time.
