I got 4 DVDs at Half Price Books the other day, they were out of cases and only 22 cents a disc with tax. Each disc has four movies so that's just over 5 cents each. Sadly the movies are mostly crap, I didn't look any of the titles up, other wise I wouldn't have wasted nearly a whole buck.
Filth To Ashes - Flesh To Dust (2011) is about some teens that get murdered by a crazy tall skinhead. It's a terrible movie. No one should watch it and the guys behind the camera should all be lined up so I can run past them carrying the naked skull of Paul Naschy, and like a stick rattling on a fence, the skull would smack all of them in their pee-pees. I'm imagining the sound in my head. Not Mozart but still enjoyable.
Salvage (2006) is a film about some young woman who keeps having dreams where she's killed by a dead guy. When it got to the end, it's didn't pay off. It's just a series of killings and little else by way of story. Slightly better than the first movie but I can't imagine how it got to be a Sundance Official Selection in 2006.
Slaughtered (2010) is an Australian slasher movie that just misses being 80 minutes. Someone is killing the guests and staff at a pub. Stupid people doing stupid things while the baddie stabs them to death. Nothing new or interesting here. The ending sucks too.
Sheltered (2010) is a slasher movie about some young adults taking shelter in the house of a bartender. People start dying and it's all the same kind of stuff that you've seen before.
There's a whole 22 cents wasted but now I can toss the disc in the garbage and save someone else from seeing them.
