That's the new Micropolis module that I built. It's actually 36 modules or 9 square blocks. 96 by 96 studs on a side, that's 30 inches a side. It breaks into 32 by 32 chunks. I built the temple part a while back and wanted to add some more. It grew in my head and finally got finished. You can see more pictures over at MOCpages.
This was the nicest throne room I've seen a while. It's by Lars Behr and more pictures can be found on MOCpages. I really liked the tile work on the floor and the blue and white windows.
That's the Bumblebee Building. It's a Micropolis building originally built in the 1920's for The Faternal Order of the Bumblebee, a local businessmen's group. Long gone. I had been wanting to build a building with yellow. I had seen several buildings over the last couple of years and recently Brian Kasprzyk had built his Micropolis version of The Empire State Building. It won the Reasonably Creative Micropolis Bad Day contest. Then Matija Grguric posted his yellow building Art Pavillion - Umjetnicki Paviljon - Zagreb. You can links to them on my MOCpages page.
This is typical of the pictures that one sees of Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater. I've seen several versions from different periods too. I bet there's a ton of bugs there.
This model gives another perspective which, I think, gives me a better idea of what the house looks like without all that vegetation. Early pictures of the site paint a different picture.
