He's quite the hunk, isn't he, the monster from The Beach Girls And The Monster. Looks like the girls are falling for his pointy head, shaggy exterior, and his big googly eyes. It's a 1965 low-budget horror beach movie with a bunch of girls in bikinis, some surfing, a lot of yakkiin' and that monster guy. It's directed by the science guy, Jon Hall, and it's the last film he acted in. In 1966 he directed some scenes in The Navy vs the Night Monsters, scenes that the original director wouldn't shoot, and then he retired after a 30 year career. In TBGATM some folks get murdered. A monster is spotted and the hunt is on. There's too much soap-opera kind of stuff going on and it drags a bit, even at 70 minutes. Eventually the monster is finished, taken out when a car falls on him. I bet he didn't see that one coming, huh. It's not great in any way, it barely scores over 2 on the IMDb, but it's goofy enough to give a look too. The music is typical beach business stuff and enjoyable enough. I've certainly seen worse.
