Eric Burdon & The Animals - The House Of The Rising Sun

 

Two things appealed to me when I first heard Eric Burdon singing the 1964 hit The House Of The Rising Sun. One was Eric's singing and the other was Alan Price's organ. Price arranged his version from a tradional song. It's a stunner.

Here's Eric and the guys doing a Rolling Stones song, Paint it Black, from the Winds Of Change album in 1967. Here's River Deep Mountain High, San Fransiscan Nights, We Gotta Get Out Of This Place and Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood. There are some other good Animals songs but those are the only ones that I want to hear anymore. You might find some if you poke around on YouTube or any of the music services.
