Death Of A Hollow Man has Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby investigating a murder of a woman fished from a river. The Causton Amateur Dramatics theater group is putting on a production of Amadeus. Joyce Barnaby has a small part in the play and Tom is helping with the backgrounds. The woman in the river is the cousin of a lady in the play and during the opening night a man dies onstage. Someone had tanpered with a prop razor. It was a pretty entertaining story willed with a mix of characters, some awful and some much nicer. Nice complicated story that had a screenplay by Caroline Graham, who wrote the novel it was based on.
The last of the first season, Faithful unto Death, is on YouTube but it has no soundtrack. Acorn TV, the producers of the Midsomer Murders dvds in the US have their own channel on YouTube but you have to pay for that.
Ha ha so funny when tape is removed and the men cuts his throat
