The 6th series of A Touch Of Frost consisted of four 100 minute episodes that first aired in March 1999. The 7th series was a 2 part story that aired on Christmas Day 1999 and New Years Day 2000. David Jason is Detective Frost in the fictional town of Denton. He's usually got a new partner each episode.
Caroline Harker returns as DS Hazel Wallace and she's helping Frost with the mess left whil;e he was on leave. There's a guy hanging in his house and there are fingerprints in the room from a guy who drowned a year before. I'd say the dead will rise but Frost wouldn't have anything to do with that. It's nice to see Hazel again.
A homeless teen is found drowned in the river. Frost is taking care of a police dog while it's handler is laid up with a bunged up leg. A meat inspector is missing and the meat packers are up to something. It's a nice mix of grim murder and dog jokes.
A woman is hit by a car and it might not be an accident. There's also a robbery at a brewery. Philip Jackson returns as DS Billy "Razor" Sharpe. He's an interesting character of the old school type.
Keys To The Car
Frost gets yelled at for his questioning techniques, he is a bit over the top, and there's a guy who's stealing a string of cars as he drives across country. They find a dead drug dealer in the boot on one of the cars. DS Bill Dorridge is working with Frost this week, and he's played by Paul Jesson.
The regional crime squad police detective Tim Fox has been found dead. Frost wonders if it was the car thieves he was investigating what done him in. A power station was burgled and Frost and Dorridge are on that case too.
The quality of the productin, writing and acting hasn't changed, it's still good in every way. I have the next batch of dvds coming from the library. I'll stick them in between the next dvd of Babylon 5.
