Series 13 of Midsomer Murders is the last series with John Nettles as DCI Tom Barnaby. He'll retire and we won't see him or his wife Joyce and his daughter Cully anymore. I'll miss Tom, he was a good detective and an interesting guy. I'll miss his wife and daughter too, they were nice ladies. Sgt Benjamin Jones will stick around. He'll have another Barnaby to deal with when Series 14 starts. I'm still enjoying the program, there's plenty of good writing and great locations, plus all the interesting characters.
