At 4 bucks and 60 pieces this Snowman has a nicer cost per piece than the Friends set does and they are nice useful pieces. Brickset says it's 6.65 cents apart. Admittedly a lot of them are rather small. This set was found at Target and it was for sale and free with minimum purchase. Brickset said it was in Barnes and Noble in October 2014 and in Hungary in the summer of the same year. I haven't been seeing any of the larger sets that I really make me want to buy them of late. I'm content to buy the occasional small polybag set. I got two and I might grab a couple more.
Random poly sets have odd little bits and pieces, or a minifig, of interest. Many more have little or nothing of interest. This is much better than average poly bag and it reminds me of the snowman poly of a couple of years ago. I got a bunch of those, they had a lot of good parts. This set has a nice stock of those bricks with studs on 1 side. There are 7 of the white and 2 each of the other two. The rest of the parts are nice stock additions and I might come up with a use for the 1x4 curved white part some day. It's a nice little set that could make a good gift. I built the two I got and have them, with Olivia, on top of the computer. I imagine it's the start of Olivia's snowman army. If I gave them guns they would be unkillable killing machines. You could still melt them but they wouldn't be dead, they'd just be water. Let's hope Olivia decides to play nice.
