The Time Guardian is another film that was included in the DVD set with Arena, Eliminators and America 3000. It's kind of sad but there you go. It's another post apocalypse film with the added bonus of time travel. Brian Hannant is the director and he wrote the script with John Baxter. It's set in 4039 and the last of the remaining humans send a city back into the past to save the world. I watched it and for some reason it made me not pay attention and I got a way into it without knowing much about what was going on. It's got Carrie Fisher in a small part and that might be one of the most interesting things about it. Now I can put the DVD away until I want to watch Arena again.
