There are 8 episodes in the 12th Series of Top Gear and they first aired in November and December of 2008. Seven of the episodes follow the normal in-studio format with car testing videos, some news, more cars, a Star In The Reasonably Priced Car and more car business.
There's plenty of flashy cars and some lorry's. As I've noted in the past one of the reasons I like the show because they break things. Here's Richard breaking through trailer with his lorry.
That's Jeremy breaking through a brick wall with his truck. He got hurt a bit as the bricks got into the cab. Good idea to avoid walls, even in a truck. They also smash test some buses in a test race around their track.
That's the trio in some muscle cars crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. Other travel locations are Tokyo, Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany and Vietnam for the special.
They even go for a record in this series. The Top Gear Stunt Man tries to beat the record set by Fifth Gear for the furthest distance by a car off a ramp while towing a caravan.
Stars in the Reasonably Priced Car segment include Michael Parkinson, Will Young, Mark Wahlberg, Harry Enfield, Kevin McLeod, Boris Johnson and Sir Tom Jones.
All told another fun series.
