The Black Torment is a British horror film from 1964. It's got a script from Derek Ford and Donald Ford with Robert Hartford-Davis directing. Sir Richard returns to his family home with his new bride. The villagers aren't too friendly to him. There's been a rape and murder in the village and the young woman died shouting Sir Richard's name. He was in London at the time so he knows it's not him. There's some other odd things happening and his new wife is bothered. Sir Richard is puzzled for a while but he eventually figures out what's going on. It was alright. I doubt I'd pick up a copy now that I've seen it.
