Romesh Ranganathan is one of my favorite British comedians. I'm almost proud of myself for learning to spell his name without looking online at the same time. I've always had trouble learning to spell words, often foreign languages have different spelling patterns, sometimes they're hard to get my noggin around.
Romesh is a stand up comedian, a TV presenter, and an actor. I've enjoyed him on most of the panel shows I like so much. He's done travel programs with his mom and he traveled around the US with comedian Rob Beckett. They hosted the 2019 Royal Variety Performance last December. Romesh is on UK TV a whole lot. He's got some stand up DVDs out but they haven't worked their way up the Amazon UK Wishlist yet. You can occasionally find them on YouTube.
Recently a YouTube channel called Rissa uploaded nearly the whole complete series 1 & 2 of Judge Romesh. For some reason there isn't any 5th episode in the first series. They also don't have the 5 online specials. I can't complain, these folks are doing me a favor, I can hope it turns up somewhere along the line. It seems to me as time passes there is less a chance of a posted show being taken down. Not always true, the more popular the show, the more likely it's going away sooner than later. Some stuff is here today and gone tomorrow, other stuff stays for years.
Judge Romesh is a parody of the courtroom shows like Judge Judy. He's joined by Tom Davis and Kerry Howard in the first series, Jessica Knappett replaces Kerry in the second series. They play the bailiff and court clerk.
Various regular folks and celebrities come on the show with issues that they need judged. Romesh has plenty of opinions and a lot of "What the fucks!" It's somewhat circus like, with plenty of jokes and noise. I've been seeing clips of the show on YouTube but this is the first time I've seen the whole series up and nearly complete. You might get a laugh out of them. I did.
