Jimmy Carr hosts a new quiz show on Channel 4 called I Literally Just Told You. They have 4 contestants and they give away up to £25,000 to the final winner. There are a good number of these quiz shows, many hosted by comedians or actors, I'm not really that interested in this type of show but I do like Jimmy. He's pretty funny here and he gives the contestants a sarcastic chomp on their funny bone when they get it wrong.
The second episode has some people that failed to pay attention to what was going on around them. The guy on the left, he gets it pretty wrong and in a spectacular way. Paying attention to what's going on around you is what the show's about. Producer and creator Richard Bacon figured that you literally could provide the contestants with all sorts of information and then quiz them on it. How much did they remember? In some cases, not a whole lot.
Jimmy's joined by Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock and Emy Adamson, they write the questions on the fly. Even the last two contestants write questions, those questions decide who goes home with the cash. All in all, it made me laugh, I'll check out the other 4 episodes, they'll air over the next month. Hopefully, they'll pop up on YouTube, I would suspect these won't be up long but you never know.
