The Unusuals Season 1 2009 Created by Noah Hawley for ABC. I rarely watch US TV anymore. This turned up and sounded like a possible show for me. Lucky for me it turned out a delight. Sadly they only made the one season of ten episodes.
Jerremy Renner, Amber Tamblyn, Harold Perrineau, Adam Goldberg are the main detectives in the 2nd Precinct. They all have a lot of quirks and they're all turned up to eleven. There's policing going on but most of the stories are driven by the characters and their lives.
The scripts are fun and there are plenty of jokes. I watched the whole lot over 3 days and enjoyed them immensely.
